In fits and starts your head
rests against mine.
We're in the stars darling, you and I
we're resting in the clouds
with nothing more than
the toilet seat before us.

We're nothing here, a filler from
Bunnings fixes shut our ear holes
and we listen carefully to each other.
This loud guffaw comes galloping
through the night.
A loyal steed to rescue our faith.

The night sky is beaming and
we're senseless with longing.
You're near, nostrils flared and blazing wide.
We're closer now. Closer than before and
this panicked pudding is
saucier than ever.
